Its distinguishing feature lies in targeting LEO satellite communications as the application domain, constituting system-level testing research within a specific vertical sector.

MINT Lab's core technologies center on Wi-Fi Channel State Information (CSI)-based wireless sensing, leveraging deep learning and recurrent neural network methods to enable device-free human detection including presence, fall, and respiration rate monitoring. The lab also specializes in millimeter wave (mmWave) beamforming, Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface (RIS) resource management, and federated edge learning (FEL) for distributed AI-driven wireless network optimization.
